This Mediterranean style villa is located in Guangzhou, China in the Favorview Palace Development. It was designed by Beausoleil Architects with interiors done by Hirsch Bedner of Los Angeles. It features 30,000 square feet of living space with separate guest quarters and pool house. The exterior is without a doubt over-the-top, so I’m curious to see if the interior is the same. I do like the height of the home, however, I wish there were more appealing architectural elements. Also, I do not like the exterior color nor the windows.

It’s funny. The drawing shows a peaceful estate in the country. Reality shows the backdrop of a hard urban core. Maybe when the smog rolls in the skyscraper slums disappear.
Communism eh?
Too damn tall!
It would make a nice boutique hotel, and how perfect that Hirsch Bedner specializes in hospitality interior design.
Garish, tasteless and awful in every way. In other words – perfect for the intended audience.
This is pretty terrible.
You have to build tall in urban settings and that concept works well in many US beach communities. Does have a resort feel to the place which isnt necessarily a bad thing. Probably will be utilized more as a corporate venue than a family home. Its different which gets it extra points.
