Location: 4 Tahiti Beach Island Road, Coral Gables, FL

Square Footage: 21,235

Bedrooms & Bathrooms: 10 bedrooms & 12 bathrooms

Price: $30,000,000

This just listed massive waterfront mansion is located at 4 Tahiti Beach Island Road in Coral Gables, FL and is situated on over 1-1/2 acres of land. Built in 2009, the Mediterranean style home features 21,235 square feet of living space with 10 bedrooms, 10 full and 2 half bathrooms, 2-story foyer with marble staircase, 2-story living room, formal dining room, elevator, gourmet kitchen, oval shaped breakfast room, family room, maids quarters, billiards room with wet bar, home theater, 4-car garage, expansive loggia, covered terraces, outdoor dining and BBQ area, infinity edge swimming pool and more.

The exterior is beautiful and the massive loggia is perfect for indoor/outdoor entertaining. The inside is clean and airy, but could use a bit more color. It’s the perfect waterfront home…on steroids! HA! I think the price should be cut in half though.

Ha. As I was saying, I’d much rather have this than the Windermere estate. But this home – honestly, I was expecting so much more. The exterior is very plain and bloated. The interior looks like it wanted to go full contemporary, but then they remembered they were inside a Mediterranean style home. For as huge as this looks from the air, you’d think the living and dining rooms could be a bit bigger. I really don’t like the smoked wood floors throughout. The private beach is a nice touch, but the smell from the swamp next door and the fact that it’s bay water and not ocean make it undesirable. I predict a 33% price reduction before it sells.

Wow, what a terrible house. The location is nice, although the mangrove hammock next door probably gets a little ripe at times. I do like the beach, and being on the south end of the bay means that it has cleaner water than something further up in the bay. Oceanfront would definitely be preferable however. The house is just ugly, inside and out; the exterior looks like a failed attempt to copy a Greek temple, out of cardboard and plaster, and the interior is completely soulless. The price is completely laughable.

I totally agree with everyone on this one ….I know the area and it should have an asking of half this ridiculous price ! Someone needs to tell the realtor that this is NOT Star Island .

Imagine the smell of the mangroves next door at low tide when all that slimmy matter shows. The mosiquitos , flys, no-see-ums, fungus gnats and palmetto bugs will be quite enjoyable .

I feel like this house could have been so much better than it turned out and it all went bad starting with that staircase. For $30 million, I expect my marble to go all the way to the ceiling in the bathroom.

This could be a cool house. The location seems serene and somewhat private.

The price needs to be cut in ahalf and another $1m spent in decor renovations but I like the overall bones– modern fixtures, huge outdoor spaces, etc.

The exterior is gorgeous. The interior is a nightmare. I would need to gut the interior completely and redo it for my taste. Not worth $30 million.
