This lavish European Castle was designed by D’Alessio Inspired Architectural Designs. As you can see it’s still on the drawing boards, so we’ll have to see if it gets built anytime soon and if so where. It features front and rear parking, formal gardens and fountains, attache guesthouse with bridge, spectacular 3-level terrace perfect for grand outdoor entertaining, an elaborate indoor swimming pool, a 2-story craft room and much more.

Well, it certainly is unique. Reminds me of Pennsmore. If this gets built, I’d be curious to see the level of detailing in this place, as I think it will make or break this place.
Why would you have a driveway that goes to the rear of the house, without an outlet; clearly there is a motor court at the main entrance. Do you really want cars driving around in your back yard?
My guess would be the main entrance is just for arrivals – the actual garage where you’d park your cars is at the back.
The garage appears to pass under the house through the arch in front by the twin staircases, with the architect employing a piano nobile for the house.
It could be very interesting, but looking at the drawings something tells me that the taste level will not be anywhere near where it should be.
wow i wonder how many square feet it would be if it were ever going to be built.
It’s certainly fanciful…and as with so many projects of this scale, it has massive potential. It’s just a shame that so many of these go wrong or fall short on their way to reality.
It’s very reminiscent of this plan:
http://www.archivaldesigns.com/houseplan_details.php?planname=Balmoral&planid=23738
That plan, by the way, has been around for many years but has never, to my knowledge, been built. So it’s entirely possible that our subject home will never be built either. Here’s to hoping
Hoping it will, that is.
That website is very cool. Several amazing designs/floor plans for the bigger homes.
Kenny u have posted this home before
I never did a post on JUST this home.
Oh God…..who let the Disney folks out again?
This most certainly wont be built and if it is, it will look awful in the final execution.
I like it..Who wouldn’t want to live in a castle???
