It seems like a lot of house for the money, and is much nicer than a lot of houses shown here for twice the price. I do wish the back yard were larger, but it seems to make due with the amount of space. Speaking of the amount of space, this house has the garage hidden from the street while other houses we’ve seen on much larger lots can’t manage it. The interior is decent, although the fridge in the kitchen looks like an afterthought. Hopefully the creepy clown art in the dining room isn’t included.

I took an open house tour of this home about two years ago after it was built. It’s quite tastetful and elegant. It’s a builder spec home, but I think the builder put in a good degree of sophistication in choosing the finishes. The one and only major caveat is that he built about 4 other variations of this Georgian Colonial in other parts of Preston Hollow. Slight changes were made in the dormer designs, portico entries and in the case of the grandest- an additional balustrade and more square footage. Desco Dr, Farqhuar Ln, Park Ln X2 are the locations of the others.

Nice house, but the price seems about right. From my time in Dallas, land and location seem to drive prices and this house has neither. You would need to buy the houses to the left and right and the three behind and demolish them and then put up a massive wall and gate to make it a real Dallas mansion.

Its quite nice, a big house for the money, but lacking in location. I’ll pass and go something in the Park cities or Preston Hollow.

I looked at this home in late 2008 after Dennis had finished it. This has been completely changed from the original plan that Dennis had……..
