Have any of these architects or designers actually ever been to Tuscany?! Some stucco, some stone, a tile roof and voila! it’s Tuscany. It takes more than some terra cotta and stacked stone to make something Tuscan. I’d love to do a count and see how many times in one month the word “Tuscan” and “Mediterranean” are used in listings to describe houses that aren’t either of those things. But I rant…

As for this house, from any angle other than straight-on from down the hill it’s cluttered and messy looking. The interior is nothing special either. The wood beams were a nice try, but they’re fighting the battle to provide character on their own. The glossy marble floors don’t belong in this house and the rest rates a resounding “meh”.

The most impressive feature seems to be the master bathroom hallway.

Am I the only one who thinks these mock-meds look pretty stupid in the middle of the desert. As for the mansion, it looks cluttered, plastic, and out of place.
