Mansion #1 – Pictures #1-4 - This mansion is located at 6 Evan Way in Pikesville, MD. It is owned by Kempaiah Jayadeva who started construction on it years ago. However, he didn’t have the money to finish it, so it sits abandoned. It is supposedly 37,000 square feet, which would make it the largest home in Baltimore County. I personally do not see how that is at all possible. It looks HALF of that.

Mansion #2 – Pictures #5-8 - This Contemporary mansion is located at 12317 Cleghorn Road in Hunt Valley, MD. It features approximately 11,500 square feet of living space with 5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms.

Mansion #3 – Pictures #9-12 - This newly built mansion is located at 511 Ivy Hill Road in Cockeysville, MD. It features approximately 18,230 square feet of living space.

Mansion #4 – Pictures #13-16 - This mansion is located at 702 W Lake Avenue in Baltimore, MD. It is owned by David Oros, who is the Principal and Founder of Global Domain Partners LLC. It features approximately 19,389 square feet of living space.

Antilla – The $1 Billion SUPER Home In Mumbai, India

If you haven’t heard of this home already, then you MUST be living in a hole. Dubbed “Antilla”, this massive 27-story home is located in Mumbai, India. Billed as the most expensive home ever built, with a value of $1 billion, the lavish residence was built for billionaire Mukesh Ambani. Mukesh has a net worth of $21 billion, making him the richest person in India and the 19th richest person in the world.  He is the chairman and CEO of the Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries Limited, the foremost company of the Indian energy and materials conglomerate Reliance Group.

Antila was designed by Chicago based architects, Perkins & Will. The Australia-based construction company Leighton Holdings began constructing it in 2008. The home was designed to survive an 8-richter scale earthquake.

The 570 foot tall monster of a “house” features a whopping 400,000 square feet of living space. It has 27 habitable floors, including six parking floors for capacity of up to 168 cars. Other features include numerous terraces, 9 elevators, a lobby, 50-seat home theater on the 8th floor, a ballroom with 80% of the ceiling covered in crystal chandeliers, ice room infused with artificial snow flurries, dance studio, three floors of hanging gardens, swimming pool, 3 helipads, air traffic control facility and the worlds largest collection of antique sewing machines. A staff of 600 maintain the home.

#1 – The House That Swanson TV Dinners Built – Pictures #1-4 - This mega mansion was built by the people behind the Swanson tv dinners. It is located off of 114th Street and features approximately 35,000 square feet of living space. There is also a gatehouse and a 5,000 square foot guest house.

#2 – The House That Claussen Pickles Built – Pictures #5-8 - This mansion was built by the people behind Claussen Pickles. It is located on Desert Holly Drive in the Desert Highlands, one of the nicest golf subdivisions in Arizona. It features 10,000 square feet of living space.

Who knew food could make someone THAT rich? Well, here’s a look at “The Mega Mansions That Food Built”. The owners of these incredible mega mansions all made their money by selling some sort of food product.

Mega Mansion #1 – Pictures #1-4 - This mega mansion is located off of Pelican Crest Drive in the guard gated Pelican Hill community of Newport Coast, FL. It is owned by Paul Merage, the founder of Hot Pockets. Paul and his brother David Merage co-founded the frozen microwave snack Hot Pockets, Lean Pockets, and Crossiant Pockets. The brothers later sold  Hot Pockets company to Nestle for $2.6 billion.

It is easily in excess of 30,000 square feet and features a tennis court, guest house, swimming pool and a pool house!

Mega Mansion #2 – Pictures #5-8 - This mega mansion is located at 5501 W Hamilton Road S in Fort Wayne, IN. The estate is owned by Richard Freeland, who has been the President and CEO of Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne, Inc and six affiliated companies that own and operate more than 40 Pizza Hut franchised restaurants in Indiana and Ohio. It is supposedly over 30,000 square feet in size and cost $35,000,000 to build. It was designed by Charlan Brock & Associates.

Mega Mansion #3 – Pictures #9-12 - This 40,000 square foot mega mansion is located on Stone Gate Road in Louisville, KY. It is owned by John Schnatter, who is the founder, chairman, and CEO of the Papa John’s pizza chain. The castle-like mansion was designed by Don Evans, an Orlando architect. It also has a multilevel subterranean garage with 22 parking spaces, an office for valet parking, a built-in car wash and a giant motorized turntable to help move limousines. It is divided into 14 parking spaces for the family on one level and eight spaces for guests on another, with an elevator between the two floors. John had a net worth of $402.6 million back in 2006, a figure that has definitely risen over recent years.

Mega Mansion #4 – Pictures #13-16- This 26,000+ square foot mega mansion is located on La Jolla Farms Road in La Jolla, CA. It is owned by supermarket billionaire Ronald Burkle who had a net worth of $3.2 billion in 2011. It has 9 bedrooms, 13.5 bathrooms, a gate/guest house, tennis court with pavilion and a swimming pool.

Mega Mansion #5 – Pictures #17-20 - This 25,000+ square foot mega mansion is located on Holland Drive in Cumming, GA. It is owned by Tommy Bagwell, who is the CEO of American Proteins, Inc., which processes livestock byproducts for use in products such as dog food and cattle feed. It features a multi-level garage, swimming pool, tennis court and is waterfront!
