It’s one of the less tasteless Russian houses we’ve seen lately, but I still don’t like it. The rooms alternate between tacky and plain. The white vinyl windows are a nice touch. Without very much going on in the main rooms, it ends up looking like a glorified community center.

First 4 photos look like they could be of a yacht interior, last 4 of a health spa. No bueno.

Funny you would say that about it looking yacht-like. I thought the same thing, with the odd angles shapes of the rooms.

I need to learn to just skip over the posts with “Russia” in the title.

I love Russian architecture. Meaning the old Russian architecture from a long time ago. And I love the detail and craftmanship. A lot of the detail that you see in things like Faberge Eggs you also see similar type of detail and quality in the architecture. However a lot of the newer structures look cheap. Its a lot like the arab architecture. Their older structures and monuments and palaces are amazing but just like the arabs the newer built architecture looks like cheap crap that is trying to look like something fancy, like something you’d find at the flea market that just looks cheap and gaudy but is trying to be something fancy.

All this new Russian architecture looks cheap. So sad.
