This renovated villa is located in Paraiso Alto, Beanahavis, Spain and offers spectacular sea, mountain and golf course views. It is completely walled in and boasts a gated private drive. It features approximately 9,500 square feet of living space with 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a grand entrance hall with impressive double staircase, living and dining room, modern gourmet kitchen, breakfast room, wine cellar, hot tub off living room, 3-car garage, security room, large terrace and much more. The landscaped grounds feature a heated swimming pool, subtropical trees, guest house and a tennis court. The price is available upon request.

I really like the peachy color of the house against the green color of the lush foliage. I do like the front exterior better than the rear exterior though. It’s great that there are so many trees and plants, one thing I like about houses in Spain. The foyer is beautiful and isn’t imposing since the grand staircase is face the opposite way. The only thing that I hate is the modern diner-esque looking gourmet kitchen. It doesn’t go with the rest of the house!

One of the most distracting foyers I’ve ever seen. Why would you have the catwalk be perpendicular to the entry? The rest looks like a two-star hotel. Lovely view.

The exterior is OK but oy, the interior. The runway above the entrance is awkward, and the whole interior is stiff and cold. Worst of all is the living room: the fireplace and seating area not lining up with the cove ceiling is completely unnerving. Why do all the Spanish villas we see have to be so impersonal and lack any soul?
