The exterior isn’t bad. The stone work looks nice, and the brick lintels add a little something. The interior isn’t horrible, but it’s completely forgettable. It looks like almost every other newish cookie cutter mansion built in the last 15 years. There are some OK details, and I’ve seen worse, but there’s nothing special about it.

The interior has too many kitsch elements. The stone wall in the dining room. The guard house/sauna(?) in the adjacent room. The living room fireplace. The Pirouline inspired columns. The pointless mini island next to the big island in the kitchen. The covered-in-fake-snow pizza oven. The exaggerated wood truss on the second floor. It just looks like a bunch of random rooms. Based I’d the interior design, I’d bet a Swiss family lives here.

Nooo. Exterior isn’t bad but the interior looks like some strange fairytale. Those twisted columns are disgusting.

Totally agree about the columns. Who likes those anyway?

Looks really dated on the inside. This will appeal to someone who is just dedicated to horses and doesn’t really care about decorating or being stylish, just comfortable. A little shabby for me.

The “famed Butler Chain of Lakes”? Did Lord Byron vacation there? Were some peace accords after WWII signed on the shores of these lakes?

Interior is horrid, exterior is completely unmemorable.

I have to respectfully disagree ZZB.
Although the interior is not to my taste either, the exterior elevation and rear yard pool, tennis court, etc. are really very nice.
Not only could an owner host a bunch of people out there for a weekend bash, the view would be beautiful to come home to after work and just enjoy.
BTW – your Chain of Lakes comments were hilarious !
