Eh, I’ve seen far nicer Canadian houses on here.

Agreed. The 27 acres are quite lovely.

The exterior has some interesting details, but it’s wonky, both front and back. I imagine this is what a horse barn that was turned into a small inn, and then turned into a private house would look like.

The inside is a textbook example of how to take a pedestrian shell and turn it into a perfectly banal interior.

Part church, part Cracker Barrel. Interior is loathsome.

Very important to have all that acreage to provide a buffer from the city folks.
I think the front of the house hints at northern european influences. I may be wrong, but I get the impression the designers were too embarrassed to make the interior grand.
They were however, very clever in building the wine cellar and tasting room. All the bottles are in easy reach – no ladders needed.

Very nice plot of land, but quite frankly it looks like the average 3,000sqft midwestern home on steroids. The interior boasts nothing special, the rooms look a little cold, and they probably could have done better than a lap pool. I love the elipse shaped dining room, but the amount of white wood does not contrast the darker wood well. The exterior also looks a bit rained on? and what is with those windows above the entryway? Not complementing or fitting at all. Could use some repainting. Someone should simply buy it and build up a bigger more stately manor to reflect the land parcel. Overall, an okay house on a beautiful piece of land, at a reasonable price.

10M bucks and no outdoor swimming pool? Are you kidding me?

The neighborhood doesn’t really look like a place that could support a 10M price tag either.
