Awesome – although the renderings don’t do it any justice, place looks like its set out to capture views from all direction. I’m sure there’ll be lot of nay sayers here, but raw cement and tile looks like this will be quite fancy, looking forward to completed product 🙂

I’ve always wanted to live in a Crate and Barrel store!

The listing must be wrong… 1903 Bay Drive isn’t oceanfront. Either way, it doesn’t look like any of the lots that are oceanfront are big enough to allow for a 20,000sqft house to feel anything but RIGHT on top of your neighbors. I guess thats why they’re only pricing it at $250/sqft for a brand new oceanfront estate. Something certainly doesn’t sound right about it. Looks gorgeous nonetheless!

This is 5 mins from my work. Exterior I’m up in the air with, but I actually like the interior renderings. Looks very 1980s but in a good way. Sadly, this lot is NOT directly on the ocean, but rather across the street. That makes the prospect of building a 20K sq ft mansion on a dry lot seem downright foolish. Add to the fact that this is Pompano, and you have the makings of a white elephant. Non-waterfront, Pompano, and super contemporary will make this an extremely hard sell.

I’m surprised, but I like it. If the finished house looks anything like the renderings it could be really interesting. I’m not at all sure about the location. I lived in Pompano for a short time, and I can’t imagine building this kind of house there.

Grrrowler…I’m beginning to doubt your taste. 😉

Growler and Daniel have HUGELY ADVANCED in their tastes & perceptions, Mak :-))). In my humble opinion, there’s VERY, very little than can actually be said accurately about a house from CGI drawings. I personally really like the shape, front & rear elevations and outdoor spaces. The interiors look quite promising to me, but any true commenting can only be done with the home is completely finished inside & out. But I understand their reservations about the lot and views….those factors will most definitively be the deciding factors as to whether or not this places sells for a good price or at all, sadly. I like it, a lot! (So far)

I appreciate modern but the exterior looks too commercial than residential. I wonder what “private beach access” means here?

It means that there is a little gate across the street that is locked that only owners who have deeded can beach can access. Kind of a pointless description as the private beach part is only true up to the high-tide line. Anything past it is public beach access…
