Kinda hotelish. But I can see myself being very happy living with those views and in that master bedroom.

I normally despise modern/contemporary or however you want to call it. The designs are either cold and repellent, or immediately dated so as to look tired.
This avoids that quite well. The spaces are uncluttered, unpretentious, and the use of natural materials provide accents without being overpowering.
The architect had taste. Good use of windows and nice outdoor space.
With minor fixture changes this is a timeless design. Which makes it exceptional for the style.
Still not my taste but I can recognize and respect this one.

Not crazy about the wood beams. It’s okay.

The master bedroom is my favorite space. The rest are nice, and I appreciate the “warm modern” style, but they’re too impersonal feeling. The living area with the central fireplace reminds me of a hotel lobby.

This feels like it would always be business business business. I like the clean lines and the sophisticated choice of furniture but it just doesn’t feel like the kind of place to really relax and snuggle on a cold winters night. It feels like a stopover and you are just waiting to catch the next privat jet out of there and go back to la or ny and do some more business deals. All the while having your laptop open on the counter to keep up with your investments in Europe and Asia.

THIS PLACE IS IMPECCABLY MAGNIFICENT!!! EVERY last thing is perfect and the materials are just the right thing for the spaces…..not too much concrete or stone or stainless steel or aluminum or commercial materials that could’ve made it look too institutional AT ALL. I’ll never understand anyone who NEVER likes ANY contemporary designs even their PHENOMENAL like this one. I’ll NEVER like traditional, even if it’s well done but at least I can recognize & praise it as such. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I think the modern design works-no antler or Navajo rug in sight. Enough wood to make it warm.
