Solana is a stunning estate located atop an 11-acre knoll in Santa Barbara, CA. InĀ 1900, Forrest Peabody of Arrow Shirt fame pursued his ambition to purchase the most inspiring estate site in the entire Santa Barbara area. Then, with the help of his architect Francis T. Underhill, he created the most significant estate in Montecito. The 22,727 square foot mansion features a number of bedrooms/bathrooms, grand reception rooms, library, gym, 3+ fireplaces, home theater, wine cellar, 3+ car garage, interior courtyard, expansive terraces and more. Fine details includeĀ hand-carved mahogany, European forged bronze hardware, museum quality mosaic tile floors, 18th century wall sconces and 17th century French oak paneling. The spectacular grounds feature endless lawns, manicured formal gardens, a swimming pool, guest house and reflecting ponds. It is listed at $57,500,000.

What a timeless estate! The house is tastefully decorated and the interior has been beautifully restored. I love the interior courtyard as well especially since it has actual trees in it! The grounds are to-die-for and I really like the reflecting pond, don’t really see those quite too often.
