HOTR reader Nick has found the architect of furniture mogul Don Wallace’s 40,000 square foot Florida mega mansion. We brought this estate to your attention back in 2010 when it was first being built. It is located off of Fort King Highway on the shores of Lake Thonotosassa in Florida. Don and his family started Lazy Days in 1976 with $500, a mobile home and two travel trailers. It grew to a company with annual sales of $800 million, and its 126-acre complex in Seffner became the largest single-site RV center in the country.

The mega mansion was designed by Cooper Johnson Smith Architects and Planners and is the 3rd largest home in Hillsborough County. With 27,008 heated square feet of living space, the mansion will boast two swimming pools, a billiards room, bowling alley,  home gym, massage room, game room, men’s lounge, his-and-hers offices, a parlor, a master suite with his-and-hers bathrooms, a croquet lawn, a baseball diamond, a massive garage, and much more.
