I think this is beautiful, full stop. Yeah, there are a few things I would change decor-wise, since it’s not entirely my style. But, overall I really like it. It’s elegant, classic, and livable at the same time. I particularly like the staircase, and am very pleased that the temptation to put in a hideous horseshoe staircase was avoided. What’s there is SO much more attractive.

As for the price, I don’t love that.

that’s exactly how I fell about this house! it’s banging on all cylinders, but I’d change a few interior furnishings. a matter or personal taste.

How can we judge a property if we don’t know how large the house is or how much land it is on. Also, my experience with pocket listings is if you can get some fool to pay a large amount more than my house is worth, I will sell it. In the mean time, the owners tell all their friends they live in a 25 mil dollar house.

A very grand home. Love the weathered appearance outside. Inside as Grrrowler said is very nice and could be spectacular with a few tweaks. I love the sitting alcove in the living room. All of the rooms look large yet livable.

Seriously, I LOVE THIS PLACE interiors and all. Someone has a serious art and antique collection. If I HAVE to find fault- the tennis court is too close to the house-I would replace with a stunning patio and formal gardens and get rid of the overgrown trees.

Nice, not worth the price though.

A Canadian home without those industrial style storefront casement windows! Those windows appear very fitting of this house, I was pleasantly surprised to see they appear to be leaded glass. The weathered stone exterior is perfect, nice “London” style chimneys too. I would tone down some of the interior decor, but that’s not a reflection of the bones of the house. Really the only non furniture or decorating change inside I would make right away is that pretend Tuscan tile in the kitchen and tone down the cream tones of the master bedroom and bath.
