i love the second to last house on rio vista. i believe its avi tahari’s house? but that house is awesome.
I was inside that house a few months ago, and it is absolutely insane–definitely one of the most lavish houses in the neighborhood, although i’m surprised at how little progress they’ve made on the interior, considering how long it’s been under construction…
Yeah, the second to last is the best. Question Kenny. Are there a lot of gated communities in that part of Jersey. If so, are they mostly McMansions or custom estates? I wish I could drive into the gated communties down here because so many of the nicest mansions are in them. At least I’ll always have Royal Palm…
Obviously I can’t speak for Kenny but I am also a proud new jerseyan. I don’t know as much about the alpine area but I would say generally speaking there are not many gated communities in nj at all. And the ones that we have are more often than not just condo communities/ townhomes/ and like adult communities. Where I live in jersey they’re pretty hard to build cause there’s like a de facto Policy against gated communities.
I wish you could of drove by the Frick Mansion.
You can’t see the Frick Mansion from the street because the property is surrounded by a thick screen of trees.
Methinks a better camera is in order.
Looks like all the action is taking place in Alpine.
Number 11 is the best from the photo anyway.
Number 5 could turn out to be a hot mess.
I’ve met the architect of house #5 before, and he told me that Architectural Digest is supposedly considering doing a piece on the house in a future issue, so anyone interested might want to watch for that.
Nice!! You live in Rio Vista?! Please email me at contact@homesoftherich.net I’d love to talk to you!!!!
