Either they need to go all-the-way over-the-top ornate…or not at all. This is like stuck inbetween

Exterior looks like a clubhouse. Interior is shiny but doesn’t shine. Hallway ain’t bad.

The outside DOES look like a clubhouse, and is incredibly boring. The interior is over-styled and there’s simply too much going on. Picture 9 is a perfect example: there are three very distinct ceiling treatments, and three very different light fixtures (not counting the can lights), visible from that single vantage point. The rooms aren’t even furnished and they’re already too busy.

The exterior looks very formal. I guess I would call this style Formal Medditerranean. I am ok with it. The inside has some elements I like and a lot that I don’t. Way over the top with the marble. The closets look great, I like the hallway and the bath.

The numerous ceiling designs, shapes and patterns with equally numerous floor patterns, column styles and lighting really doesnt work. Too much of a good thing doesnt make a good thing.

Do people really like that long, long, long hallway? I get an elegant cruise ship vibe.

Good Lord, this is one seriously boring home. I also have a big problem with single-story homes with 5-digit square footages…it just seems so sprawling and awkward.
