Beautiful facade, shame about the interior.

Agreed. The interior is a mish mash of too many styles.

I don’t like detached garages. It makes no sense to make a rich person walk through crappy weather to their car. They could at least have made a covered walkway.

We’re in complete agreement on that point…It really doesn’t make sense at all, and yet you see it SO often in high-end houses. I suppose you’d keep your daily driver vehicles in the attached garage, and the fair-weather “toys” in the detached garage, but still.

Lovely exterior. The ivy really makes this place look weathered in a good way. I would have never guessed this was originally built in 1999. Interior as-is seems fussy, but it could be very nice. I agree with Mak regarding the garages.

I really like the kitchenette as shown in picture 6. It is like eating on a patio, but without the weather or bugs.

This is actually quite nice all around…I love the “lived-in” look of the exterior and the landscaping is all very nice. Inside there are some areas that get a little fussy for my taste, but overall it’s a good mix of formal and casual. Not sure about the odd black herringbone floors in part of the basement. The price even seems reasonable.

This is an interesting take on a Georgian. What, are the columns just laid over the facade in a thin layer. It looks quite classic and I am sure there are other examples of this, I have just never seen one. I like it. I actually like the interior, it looks comfortable and not overly ornate or busy. Just hits all the classic notes with no embellishment. I think this decorating was probably actually done by the family as it looks very homey and unpretentious. Whoever decorated this did a great job at making it into an upper class home and not a decorator showcase. I would actually use this decorator. Overall a classic and beautiful home.
