It’s amazing how wallpaper and poor color choices can ruin an entire house. The exterior is lovely, and I love the pool area. Kinda wish this was across the street on the big lake, but you do get to say you have your own lake all to yourself. I also love the community itself – it’s unlike any other community in S. Florida.

The interior *can* be nice, but it needs to be completely repainted. The spaces look manageable and the details seem nice. But oh my goodness that wallpaper has to go.

    1. Beautiful pool area.
    2. Beautiful outdoor room and landscaping.
    3. Terrible wallpaper. The paint doesn’t bug me as much as it bugs Daniel.
    4. But the furniture looks too spindly and not at home in the large spaces.
    5. Cliche’d popcorn cart in the theatre. (Never, ever use it, or your theatre will forever smell like stale peanut oil.) But I love that they used deep couches instead of “theatre seats”. I can’t be the only one who loves to snuggle with my honey while watching a movie, can I? Theatre seats aren’t conducive to that. I can survive a movie without a built-in cupholder, thank you.

Shitty theater seats are one of the most puzzling aspects of high-end homes, when they show up. My ass falls so completely asleep when I go see a movie, I can’t imagine why you would put those chairs in your own home. So yes, I do love to snuggle with my honey when watching a film, and a nice, deep, cushy couch is infinitely more inviting in a home theater than a folding chair. I’m glad you brought that up.

I love the pool. Everything else is no good.

The interior definitely does not make me like the place any more. In fact, the interior is just awful. There are some interesting spaces, so there’s hope, but everything from the curtains to the furniture to the wallpaper to the hideous paint color needs to go. As before, I like the exterior and the grounds a lot, but don’t like that it’s so far inland.

At least it is not beige. Exterior and pool are gorgeous. The pond or as they say “lake” is an alligator magnet. All that water in this neighborhood screams bugs.

Goodness, how horrid the interior is! The first two picture look very nice, especially the aerial one, but those decorating choices…

Color changes will do this place good. I’m not quite as averse to the decorating as most other commenters seem to be, but oh well. Overall it’s a beautiful home.

Are the streets in Le Lac as poor in quality as they look from these pics? The road leading to this home’s driveway looks like it’s crumbling back into the earth!

Are you talking about photo 1 on the left? If so, that Is gravel leading to the house. Last time I was in the community, it was very well taken of. Just check out the new guardhouse on Streetview!

If you are looking at the driveway/street on the left side of the aerial view, that looks to be a shared service driveway leading to the garages and service entry areas for the homes and I am sure it doesnt get the attention that the main roads do. The pavement does appear to be worn, but only the delivery guys get to see that.

Ah. In photo 2, the very bottom dirt track is part of the Polo track, and the extreme left dirt path is some kind of service entrance just for this home. If you look at old aerials, it seems that section was added later on to the estate.

Ooohhh, I was definitely looking at the wrong place. If I had looked more carefully I would’ve seen the actual main driveway comes in from the right, not the left. Okay, I was about to say…

Very fussy old lady interior. Seems like a lot of house for the money for Boca Raton. Not my cup of tea, but if I am ever reincarnated as a fussy old lady, this is the place.

Clunky and chunky interior detailing, arcades and columns, but not bad overall. THe outstanding feature is the lush exterior grounds and amenities. What a beautiful estate setting with lake and a great pool complex. Theatre is indeed very comfy. The use of some wallpaper in one small area does not make the whole. This price in Boca for all that you get appears to be a great deal.

Looks beautiful, the landscape, the pool, the abundant space. I would definitely give it a furniture make-over but it definitely looks like a GREAT deal!
