Yuck. This belongs in Atlanta or Jersey. Terribly dated and mediocre. $200,000/month is perhaps the biggest joke I’ve heard in a long time. HA! By the way, the Realtor looks like Heather Dubrow’s twin sister…

Not Jersey!!! Atlanta is more like it 😉 haha. It’s ludicrous. Should be more like $25,000 a month judging by the house, but he thinks he can ask for more considering he’s a celebrity and it’s located in one of the most exclusive communities in the country.

I like the facade (finish and generally how it looks in the first picture), but it’s horrendous. The portico is so disproportionate, for example, but the backyard… That’s just awful.

Ok…lets give this guy some room here…(or how about 20 hahah)…

Martin was dirt poor as a kid, so it’s no surprise he’s gone the way that he has. Being rich isn’t synonymous with having good taste. He’s also a comedy guy. So lets get off his back about this place.

Personally, I think he’s playing a joke on all of us.

This is a HOT ASS STANK MESS!!! And it is “Cheap and tacky.” “Limedaiquar” stole my trademark pending phrase lol. I don’t know how Martin Lawrence was allowed to build something so hideous in Beverly Park North. I thought they had very strict rules about construction quality. Most of the homes in Beverly Park north are nice but I have noticed a few that look really cheap and crappy. Are these cheap Crappy homes Finton construction homes? Cause I thought you were required to have your home built by Finton construction or another builder on that level in order to build in Beverly Park North. I didn’t think you could just get any ole body to build you a house in Beverly Park North. This house is the cheapest crappiest home I have ever seen in my life. Joe and Melissa Gorga’s house puts this to shame. It looks like Martin is going broke and needs to over charge on the lease of this home so he can pay his mortgage and have extra money left over to pay down debts and pay for his living expenses to go rent another home while some fool pays him $200,000 per month to lease this tacky dump. Martin hasn’t had a hit movie or any movie at all out in a while so I say he’s broke. Also he recently went through a divorce so I am pretty sure he’s short on funds now.

I also wanna say that its funny that whenever anyone see’s a home that is very cheaply and poorly made and gaudy and tacky the first thing they think of is New Jersey lol. It does look a little like some Atlanta area homes as well but Atlanta has some nice quality homes too though. I have seen a lot of quality homes in Atlanta. Most of the homes in the 2,800 square foot to 5,000 square foot range are really nice and good quality in Atlanta. But there’s a lot of broke front’n wannabe’s like Martin Lawrence building 15,000 square foot houses in Atlanta and those houses usually end up looking cheap. That’s cause these people can barely afford the expensive lot in a nice part of Atlanta and then they want to build a huge 15,000 square foot home so they have to cut corners somewhere and they build a huge cheap tacky looking house. Think “Kim Zolciak”, she has a big house in a nice part of Atlanta but it looks like it is made cheaply and it looks tacky. But there are some people with real money who build nice homes in Atlanta area and there are areas like Buckhead that has older homes that were built back in the day with quality. I rarely ever see anything in New Jersey that is nice besides The Stone Mansion and a few others.

I personally don’t think it’s that bad. Love the dining room and the wood panneling and the pool is nice too, but to read everyone’s comments on here, you’d think this was a dump. God, you people are harsh. For the record, I’ve lived in 4 states, with 2 being NJ and GA(Atlanta). Both have some magnificent well built homes. Don’t know who made up the theory that all mansions in these 2 locations are cheap, tacky, or gaudy…..

While I agree it’s an outrageous price and not my style, it’s a smart move if he gets someone to actually pay for it… The mortgage payments would be a third of that.

If he gets someone to pay for it for a month, that’s 3 months of mortgage payments for free…

To some, 200k is pocket change – I’m sure someone will rent it out for a lot, if not the full price

Good business move on his part.

I bet most of you making comments on here don’t even make $200’000 a year.
