It’s like every other home there…Loving the target Summer Collection ’08 furniture, though

What are we supposed to do, buy new furniture every year?

Yawn. This style of home really doesn’t showcase the asking price.

I don’t get this place at all. It has a beautiful piece of property, and a very boring house. They could have done so much more with this land. It looks like they pushed it right up to the edge of the buildable land, and squished it in. Look at the pool! Is that tiny, peculiarly shaped thing you get to swim in for $65M

I do approve of the race track in front though. That would be hella fun to take go carts around.

I don’t have any compaints. It’s nice to see a Hamptons mansion with an astronomical price that’s actually on the water. 33 acres is spectacular, and the fact that it’s in Southhampton is even better. While im not overwhelmed with the interior, the exterior is a nice interpretation for shingle style. I feel as if the interior should look more like “Grayson Manor” in Revenge, however. (it’s one of my favorite tv houses!)

    Location: $62,000,000
    House: $3,000,000

It’s not bad. In fact it’s nice in many ways. But, for this kind of money, I expect something truly spectacular, and this ain’t it.

It is a bit on the boring side for $65,000,000, but for once it’s a Hamptons home that actually feels warm and inviting! Usually you get sterile, whitewashed “modern” interior style in this area. So, the price is too high and it doesn’t feel special enough. Wonderful amount of land, though.
