What an odd looking house. The pool is heinous. Interior is too shabby chic for me.

The lemons in the kitchen say it all. The decorator should be sued. That pool and mini courtyard sitting area – horrible. Very disappointing.

the outside is really cool looking because it is so different than all the other ones in the area. inside is hideous though. too cold and lifeless.

Needs more color. It’s also hard to get a handle on the layout of the home, and even where the facade/entryway is. I like that it’s different though. Seems a little pricey for this area?

I give it credit for being different, but that’s all that I can say positive about it. I despise painted bricks, and this has a lot of them. The interior looks impersonal and like a bad staging job.

Doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t hate it but it seems to be in a really boring area.

The Woodlands, an award winning planned community, is home to 3 Fortune 500 Companies, an incredible mall, award winning public schools, a renowned performing arts venue, and more public art per square mile than any other city. Boring? I think not.

Its not the finest home in The Woodlands we’ve seen, but nonetheless its still pretty.

The pool is better suited for a city lot than in suburbia-it is surrounded and probably gets little sun. The kitchen is a mess-the freestanding range/oven is both ugly and nonfunctional-no countertop to place things upon while you cook. It is missing cabinets and no one likes to see the sides of this appliance. The Kitchen’s exposed brick color and design does not make sense since there is no nonpainted brick on the outside and the house is basically beige and grey.

though it is not one of my favorites of Bobby’s work, he is truly one of the most superb residential architects in the country. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year, and it was an amazing experiance. For those not familiar with his work, I encourage you to check it out. And his book, “The Home Within Us” is a treat for any architrcture enthusiast.
