I was looking this up on rightmove.com the other day, despite the interior is nothing original its still fresh and appealing for young buyers. Love the entrance gates, that would be one thing i’d take away from this. Also its a bit odd how the house is situated in coloration with the entrance and the land as a whole.
Worst house ever!!
Okay, care to elaborate?
Exterior is nice but the interior is so dull. I guess the builder figured it would just be furnished with a bunch of off-white and white contemporary furnishings, so ornamentation would have just been wasted money.
This is yet another good example of your typical British mansion. Its features include a nice, standard brick exterior hiding the trademark white interior that is so spartan and lifeless, even a minimalist will cry. Also, don’t forget the indoor pool either.
This definitely checks all the boxes for a new-built English house (as others have pointed out). The exterior is mostly nice, but the light-colored stone on the central block of the front makes it feel like the house is wearing a loincloth. The interior is truly a blank slate, a VERY blank slate.
this is truly delicious house porn- but a rather boring interior.
I love the grounds as well as the exterior. But the interior gots to be spruced up just a bit. Okay alot. Even the indoor pool complex is boring. I’d take it though; bring in some designers and get the inside livened up a bit. Add some personality to this place. I’d also throw in a chipping / putting green, got plenty of nice lawn for it.
Just curious – has there been a house with a very modern exterior, but old country estate style traditional interior? Or would that be an abomination? I can’t even imagine what it would look like.
So much wasted potential on the interior of this one.
That’s an interesting thought…personally I’m not a fan of either of the possible mismatch scenarios, but it would certainly be interesting to find a contemporary exterior hiding a traditional interior.
Pleasing enough exterior, but interior is par for the course as far as high-end British new-builds go.
again with the ugly high-end british new builds. they have lovely exteriors that mask ugly interiors
the interior has potential. blank slate = worlds of potential. the exterior is ok.
