Eh. This house has been in and off the market for years. Last time the house was listed for $32 million or so. Overpriced then, overpriced now. Nice exterior, but the interior is so dull.

I’d like to hope the interior is more exciting than the very few provided pics suggest, but I won’t get my hopes up. If Daniel’s comment is accurate, I can’t see how a $13 million dollar mark-up is in any way warranted in the current economic/real estate climate.

Nice island though. The interior is yuck. The rest of the houses in the neighborhood look great. Anyone know who lives on this island? Is it like all celebs or Ceo’s?

Just looked it up. This is a weird little island, city, country club. It is an incorporated municipality with 14 state police officers for the 38 residents. This place seems a little too weird for me.

Mostly CEOs now. Jay Z did own a home on it, but I think he sold it. Julio Iglesias sold his home several years ago. As Wikipedia notes, the community is extremely security conchise. They are one of only a handful of communities with water patrols. You won’t find a pricier guard gated community in S. Florida. Some stunning homes though…

Yep, Indian Creek Island is like living in a wierd commune . I bet the only reason why Leroy Schector’s home is now listed for $45 million is because Billionare Eddie Lampert just bought the house next door to the south for $40 million . Still, I hope some Billionare idiot pays Leroy full asking because he has vowed to donate all proceeds to charity . He is 85 years old and wants to give 90% of his total wealth away before he dies.

eh, not worth it. Versailles in Orlando is a better purchase, it may be gaudy, but at least its noteworthy

For $45M you would think that the pictures would be high quality. It looks like the folks have moved out with their furnishings and art. The lack of staging me thinks it could be a financially troubled property.
