I love the land it’s on and the entrance.

The house it’self is okay I guess. Only thing I really dislike is the 2-story room. But I just hate 2 story rooms in general.

The aerial looks nice but the up-close picture (photo 3) doesn’t look encouraging. I don’t like the blank spaces just to the right of the living room on the first floor. Something about having an empty wall without ornamentation (inside or out) that really bugs me. I also don’t get the whole point of having to drive through the house to get to the interior motor court and garages. Interior is decent but nowhere near $14 million.

Other than the views, I can’t find anything remotely special or unique about this place. Well, I guess the price is special, considering it’s ridiculously high for this much mediocrity.

That’s a real fancy Olive Garden you have there…

The interior is mostly nice, but nothing spectacular. Like Daniel said, it’s decent but not worth $14 Million. My favorite room is the kitchen. The foyer is the worst part. It’s boring as hell.

I’m not sold on the exterior but it’s better than a lot of other similar Meds. I actually really like the drive through portion. It’s like a super functional porte-cochere. I bet it’s impressive to guests. I wouldn’t have anything in the disjointed wing other than a guest suite or an exercise room. You’re not going to want to walk across for a room that you use several times every day, ya know? Being on 4 acres, this mansion seems very cramped on its lot.

Overall I’d say it’s a decent, but expensive entry into HOTR’s featured Mediterraneans.
