A couple of weeks ago we posted up pictures of Mohamed Hadid’s newly built Beverly Hills, CA mega mansions when it was featured on Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset. Well, there is now a video tour of the home! Cast-member Sammy Younai and Mohamed show us around the 30,000+ square foot home. Check it out above! The interior is definitely much more contemporary than the last home that he built (Le Belvedere).

That kitchen is obscenely big. A little cumbersome if you ask me. I really do like the theater and indoor pool though. The rest seems like a giant Las Vegas hotel room. I’m not crazy about all the glass doors everywhere. I don’t know…I’d have to see this furnished to make a final judgement.

While I do not like it— I have to say it is tasteful in comparison with his last home.

this man’s outsize ego is revolting (Hadid) does he really consider himself such an arbiter of good taste that he fealt like he needed to design the furnishings and artwork? neither are done well. the furnishings look like something from any passable Italian design store and his “art” is just derivative couch art made to fit the house. it has no statement, personality or originality. like Daniel said above, the glass door and other elements (medium tone polished wood, cut glass entry doors) all look like mid-nineties resort hotel cast offs. hopefully a tasteful and well conceived California original wan’t pulled down for this expensive pile of maniacal taste.

      B I N G O!!! Exactly as I said a few postings back about Hadid’s “house”,
RE. VOL. TING. Materialistic excess and GREED on a scale that EVEN I don’t have the words for……and that’s REALLY saying something ’cause I’m ALMOST NEVER at a loss for words!

It would make a nice hotel, but it’s ridiculous as a house. Some of the details are nice, but they’re also over the top. All the glass doors make it feel even more like a hotel or a shop, and the kitchen seems like it won a contest to make the largest home kitchen possible. I hope whoever does the cooking has plenty of stamina, or maybe plans to use a Segway to get things from the pantry to the prep area.

At 00:50 Hadid says he can’t find any art work big enough for the house, and had to make it all himself so it will fit. What a crock of shit; all it is is a way to get his art work on a wall somewhere. If he can’t find large canvases by noted artists, he’s not looking very hard. It’s all about Hadid’s ego, clearly. Whoever buys this house will never have it be known as their own. It will always be “Hadid’s House”.

Wow, what an ugly house. Good thing that Daniel has changed his mind.

Too contemporary for me. It’s nicer than most modern homes, but it’s just too hotel-ish to me. Looks kinda like an apple store interior. Pretty cool house though, amenity-wise.

I have to admit that I didn’t view the video, as based on what I have previously seen of this white elephant, it isn’t worth the time/effort. Maybe if I get bored enough. Meanwhile, here’s a Beaux-Arts palace done superbly, although pix are limited…

I like it much more than Le Belvedere, but there are still to many niche elements that are a major turn off. Then again, I’m not the demographic he’s trying to appeal to. Also, it’s extremely cavernous.

Dont really like it as a whole, but I absolutely love the huge kitchen/family room. And the theater is absolutely spectacular.

Can someone put up another link because it is telling me ‘the content is currently unavailable’. Probably another region-specific thing. Racists…

    I like the wet/dry pantry.
BTW – if you can afford this house – you can afford a chef and housekeeping.

Seriously doubt the owners will be dragging groceries in from whole foods.

The glass doors to the pantry will not hide the boxes, containers and cans of crap on the shelves and ruin the lines of the kitchen.
