Developer Mohamed Hadid’s newly built mega mansion was recently featured on Bravo’s new reality show, Shahs of Sunset. Pictured above are snapshots that I took when one of the cast-members took a tour of the home. The massive estate is located on N Crescent Drive in Beverly Hills, CA and is supposedly 44,000 square feet in size (30,000 above ground and 14,000 below). The massive 14,000 square foot “lower level” boasts an elaborate Turkish bath with hand-carved Egyptian limestone columns and marble walls,  full bar made of Persian Onyx, 36-foot long indoor swimming pool, Moroccan room with detailed painted walls and an imported chandelier and a movie theater with custom-designed stadium-style seating for 50 people!

Kenny, you say you took snapshots? Did you get to actually tour this home too?

Wow is that the wine cellar. The home looks great but I think it will be beautiful if it was located on a large piece of land

You can tell how small the front garden is as the camera had to tilt up to get a portion of the house onscreen… The style of the house just doesn’t fit into such a small plot, it would be like putting a 70-story skyscraper in the middle of a field.

They also showed a floating gazebo surrounded by a moat and made mention of 250 people working on the house at one time. It’s crazy that the fat ugly shah of sunset is the most interesting one.

The home is too big for the lot, but I love what I see. It’s completely outrageous, impractical, and screams “I have money.” Nothing wrong with that in my eyes…

      Exactly my thoughts as well.

Daniel, uhm, he actually doesn’t really have that much. The bank repossessed his Le Belvedere because he couldn’t repay the loan, apparently. That house was never sold.

Do you really like this wreck?

Whether the supposed wealth of Mo is smoke and mirrors or not, I think it will be a beautiful home. I do have to agree with grrrowler though about the wine cellar. What fool would put the wine in their while it’s still under construction?

Apparently this guy builds mega mansions for kicks then resells them but doesn’t always recoup his investment: http://www.luxist.com/tag/mohamed+hadid/. Maybe it’s time to stop throwing money away during an economic crisis precipitated by a housing collapse.

But I do love the Beaux Arts look of the exterior. 🙂

AAAAAAAAAAAAMEN, to the 100th power, Richie……I could NOT POSSIBLY agree with you more. Stark raving MAD materialism turns my stomach to a degree that I truly cannot describe.

The taste level seems to be somewhat lacking.

I want to know who puts wine into a cellar while it’s still under construction?

The Welches Grape Juice is still aging.

It’s incredible the difference an interior makes in a home. Take for example that god-awful, tacky wine cellar.

And just a few days ago, Kenny did a spotlight on many, lovely and classy wine cellars. And then compare them to this thing.

    *hands in face* *shakes head*

Kenny, while we’re speaking about mansions in construction, here is a picture of The Knoll:

Maybe u should hire Zola & her crew to clean this monstrosity. Talk about excess. Why don’t u do something constructive with your $$$ instead of run around with gold diggers young enough to be your daughter. Pathetic. Typical middle easterners ,showing off with no taste, no class GO AWAY!!!

A modern day palace set on a tiny lot in the middle of a busy, noisy city. I just don’t understand WHY. Why would you spend all this money for such a thing in such a location?

This house will undoubtedly be interesting when it’s all done. I can’t wait to see the final product out of sheer amazement. There’s not a lot here that I can really get behind. I don’t like the style. I don’t like the flashy display of money purely for the sake of making poor people feel… poor.

This house is the automotive equivilent of a Hummer H1. Big, impractical, and flashy. You think everyone is looking at your Hummer jealously. But in reality, we’re just laughing at you and shaking out heads in disgust. 30,000 sq ft above ground? Why not leave it at that? Or shrink it down a bit and leave some room for open space? You could still have that large basement if you wanted… Whatever…

What I do like is the amenity list. From what I see, I do like the theater minus the weird blue lights. Seating for 50 people is AWESOME. I do like the idea of a large undergroud “lower level” if executed correctly. Regardless, I still can’t wait to see what it looks like. Then we can burn it down and roast marshmallows. Who is with me? 😉

Where does one begin? First taking money from JF for a helicopter then SS lawsuit. Does he really think that botoxed lip injected euro would be with him if he was a manager at KFC?! C’mon guy, he can’t be serious with himself. He serves the same exact food at every party, invites a mix of old douche bags who date youngins looking ridiculous next to their grandpas, ex boxers and people who kiss his ass tell them how wonderful he and his paintings are, pretends to be “a wonderful so thankful good spirited person” all the while faking nice to your face and HE DOESNT EVEN DRINK WINE or any alcohol for that matter because of his “religion!” So the wine cellar complete with fake dust meaning its all fake, the painted smile, perfect, hollywood, no better place to fit in! Does leasing your personal airplane count?! Keep bragging mr. Hot tea….keep rubbing a few out daddy!
