This lavish apartment is located on the 6th floor of 521 Park Avenue in New York, NY. The building was built in 1911, but the apartment was renovated in 2010. It boasts approximately 4,500 square feet of living space with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 10.5 foot ceilings throughout, 35 foot long gallery with limestone paneled walls and, 40 foot long living room, marble and limestone floors throughout, formal dining room with wainscot paneling, gourmet kitchen and a walnut paneled billiards room. It’s gorgeous, but how much more would you have to pay for a high, view floor with significant terraces? I shudder to think….

Interesting apartment, very interesting decor. I love the marble bath and the color of the dining room.

I am not a fan of all that marble in the bathroom and the stove/oven in the kitchen. Otherwise-pretty cool.

Now this I like. The interior is very well-detailed, and it’s just different enough to be interesting without being kitschy. The are a few things I can change, like the Roman busts in the gallery, but it’s quite nice otherwise.

I will go out on a limb and say that I’m really not a fan of Park Avenue. I’d much prefer views over the park from 5th Avenue or CPS. Plus, since it’s a “canyon”, anything on Park Ave. will much louder than something overlooking the actual park.

Wow! Nice find Kenny! Other than some small, odd choices in decor, I really like it! The apartment itself is fantastic! My biggest gripe is the excessive marble in the bathroom, but it’s not terrible I suppose. I REALLY like the hallway.

The apartment itself isnt bad, views are good too, but personally i find the decor a little too gaudy. excellent structure though.

Not bad at all. Beyond the usual gripes about NYC pricing, this is quite nice.
