Yes, that’s right, HIDEOUS. This down right ugly mega mansion is located at 22711 La Quilla Drive in Chatsworth, CA. It was built in 2008 and features every amenity you could think of. However, it’s all located in a BIG, BEIGE, BOXY mess of a home that’s devoid of any real architectural detail. It boasts 11 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, commercial elevator, ballroom, temperature-controlled wine cellar, massive 80-seat home theater with bar, game room, gym, massage room, wet and dry sauna, indoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The home isn’t for sale, but a reader of ours found it on Zillow.

Kenny, I guess you and I will never agree; I think this is absolutely GORGEOUS! It’s tasteful, elegant, and the details are simply stunning.
OK, none of that is true…it really is hideous. It looks as if it were lifted straight out of downtown Baghdad.
I looked at the description it said 80-seat theatre then I saw the actual pic’ of the theatre. Looooooooooool!
HAHA I know. I think it’s just SEATING for 80, not 80 SEATS lol
Such a large plot too, such a waste…
Looks quite similar to this Beverly Hills mansion

That house is a massacre!
It did remind me of that Bel Air house. Other than the facade the Bel Air place is great.
Are you sure it isn’t on La Quinta Dr???
It sure looks like a La Quinta.
My thoughts exactly. From the exterior, I thought it was a budget motel.
Ick.
10 bucks that it’s being built by one of the reality stars from Shahs of Sunset.
Agreed, this home is absolutely atrocious! The architect should be beaten in the public square; this is assuming that a town that would approve of residential architecture of such an offensive nature would in fact have a public square??
Haha Kenny. You’re hilarious.
This house seriously looks like its made of cardboard. I’ve seen some cheap motels that have more class and quality.
Are we sure this house isn’t a movie prop? Haha
I would be SO pissed if I owned one of the surrounding homes that were there before this thing.
The house is plain F$%king GROSS!!! like the saying goes ” More dollars then sense”. The other home owners around this pile of Mc Crap should burn it to the Ground!!!
Haha Kenny. And to my fellow commentators on this board… (you know, the ones who bash 99% of the homes on the board), this would be the appropriate home to bash.
My goodness that is quite hideous.
Hi Kenny,
I laughed out loud when I read the heading; it reminded me of the saying “That’s why they make chocolate and vanilla”.
I’m sure to some it is the essence of beauty and style, and to others its essence is something more along the lines of cow pies. It is located in a really nice gated community called Indian Springs in Chatsworth, CA, which was developed by Val Kilmer’s father back in the day. I’ve got a couple of clients in the immediate area, and suffice it to say that most homeowners in the neighborhood are in the cow pie group!
i used to run around those hills as a kid it was awesome. somebody needs to take a wrecking ball to that house.
I visit the area often to visit my wife’s uncle and I always pass by and admire the house. This house is simply one of the best around. It was in architectural digest in 2010. Either you have not seen it in person or you are just too jealous.
