For something called the Castle of Hope it looks awfully hopeless.

I hate when people name homes. Bleh..And it’s sad when the best room in the house is the gym.

I only think it’s appropriate to name homes when they’re groundbreaking, landmark estates 🙂

Yeah, now in that case it deserves a name. Not when it’s some piece of crap.

No one else seems impressed by this one either. I think for $10M+ it should have SOMETHING compelling about it – at least besides the location – and the gym. I’m curious as to people’s thoughts about THIS castle:

Sure it’s only around half the size and in a less-desirable location, but for less than 10% of the price, to me this is a “buy sight unseen bargain.” Anyone up for making this a Homes of the Rich fractional property? I’ll take a month or two.

Brian…GREAT find for a fraction (under a million) of the price of that ugly place!

My friend’s house is like 1000ft from this place lol. I’m not too impressed. There are much nicer homes in that area.

It starts with the lawn jockey and only goes downhill from there. Banal, unimaginative, and incohesive are the best words I can think of to describe it.

HA! Nice comments by NOVA Ben and Grrrowler. 🙂

I think the commentors might be a little too harsh on this one, but yeah it’s pretty bad. I think the only part I like is the stained glass in the small dining area.
