This historic mansion, dubbed Bloomfield, was located at 200 S Ithan Avenue in Villanova, PA. Sadly, it burned down on Wednesday. The French Chateau style home was built in 1905 and designed by Horace Trumbauer, a famous Philly architect who also designed the Philly Museum of Art, with formal gardens designed by the designers of Central Park in NYC. It boasted 22,000 square feet of living space with 19 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It was for sale last year for $6.9M but was taken off the market in October.
