Excellent! It’s nice to see some architects (and some homes) from my part of the world! I wouldn’t say that any of the designs I saw broke any new ground, but I didn’t find any major complaints either. If I were to win the lottery and build my dream mansion, I’m sure I would contact them for some ideas.
I actually love the contemporary homes more than the traditional ones. Love number 1.
Oh NOW I know the entire planet has flipped and we’re all in the 4th dimension! Hang on to your brains, Daniel……….I agree with you completely. The Washington Park house is breathtakingly EXQUISITE. Dream, dream, dream as the old pop song from the late ’50′s/early 60′s goes.
I’ve always been a fan of Wrightian inspired homes. Love desert contemporaries too. Basically anything that isn’t completely white or has exposed ceiling beams…
None of these are original or award-winning properties, the contemporary is my least favorite, the homes in pictures 3, 4 and 6 look the best, they all have homely qualities.
Ummmmm, Sam……..do you maybe mean “homey” qualities?? “HomeLy” means ugly, unattractive, nobody wants you/it……..??
I like #4.
