That bed looks lonely. And I could’ve sworn the window above the porch was a giant clock.

My favorite part is the vaulted skylight in the foyer; love it!

It’s…um…interesting? There are some nice individual features, like the skylight above the foyer. But, mostly I can’t stand it. The interior is cold, cheap looking, and comes across as unfinished decor-wise. The whole nightclub-as-a-home look doesn’t work for me. The proportions and scale of the front facade are really wonky.

The lack of railings on the middle stairs look weird. I like the rear elevation better than the front. The master bedroom bed tells it all.

The exterior and the foyer are interesting from a architectural standpoint, but they aren’t my style. It looks like a church or an old school building to me which is kinda cool. Even though it’s newly built, I would like to imagine that it’s a repurposed building.

The rest of the house is an atrocity. Everything is obviously WAY too cold, white and sterile. Brrrrr… But even with some color there isn’t one room that isn’t oddly proportioned or oddly laid out. Strip it down to the shell and start over. Yuck.

Bleh. What a freezing and sterile interior. Hate it. Exterior is pretty horrid too with the exaggerated front entrance.

This house leaves me cold. Too much white. Looks like 1970 futurism.

I like how they made it look like an old tudor style home on the outside then on the interior its MODERN! I would never guess that a house that looks like a 1900’s mansion would look so modern on the inside…i think it just needs to be furnished then alot of the haters would like it… I LOVE ALL THE SKYLIGHTS!!!! MAKES IT FEEL BIGGER!!! 😀

This house is in a place called Coombe Hill, it’s probably one of the most if not the most expensive house to come to market in the area.

I know many people who live in this area and have far nicer houses, this in my opinion is one of the most horrid poorly designed properties that I’ve seen. I just don’t like any of it, it’s poorly proportioned, thought out and overall a mess.

This is unappealing on pretty much all levels. The proportions of the front are wacky beyond belief, and the inside is about as inviting as a game of Twister with your mother-in-law, although in a slightly different way.

I get that the current decor craze in the UK is a traditional exterior with a hyper-modern interior, but generally speaking, I just don’t buy into it, whether it’s on that side of the pond or this one.
