If you’re going to live in a townhouse, you might as well live…..where there are townhouses….this looks out of place.

Boring and basic, but it’s pretty nice. For 2-3 million this would make a great blank canvas in which to customize to your own liking. I like how they seemed to capture some old charm in a 1999 house. It’s not quite there, but I would have guessed this house was much older. Is that a good thing? I’m not sure…

My number one complaint is that the garage is seperate from the house (unless I’m wrong?). Rainy/Snowy grocery trips would be a serious chore. That alone would keep me from this house. Also, I’m not thrilled with the giant windows in the shower. Did they design the exterior with zero regard for comfort and functionality on the inside? Maybe you could frost the windows??

I usually attribute this comment to more modern looking homes, but I could whip this up in “The Sims” in a couple hours flat. To me, that says lazy architect and lazy designers.

This only has a half acre lot. That’s pretty small even for suburban standards. The backyard is very plain with a long, skinny form. Bleck.

BARF. This place has all the charm, warmth & style of a CARDBOARD REFRIGERATOR CARTON.

But Barney, when was the last time you saw a refrigerator carton with granite counter tops? 😉

Oh man, I was just getting myself all riled up for a diatribe about how this is yet another home that’s had all the old charm renovated right out of it, until I saw that it was built in 1999. So basically it has nothing going for it in my eyes. The exterior fooled me at first concerning the age.

This house was built in 1999 with a huge two story garage/coach house that totally obscured the front of the house since it is on a busy street. It had a courtyard between the garage and the house. I wish I could find the original listing(Coldwell Banker). Also there was an issue with the backyard-it did not go all the way back on the side due to a neighbor’s property line and it thus was ‘L’ shaped. A half an acre is pretty big in Winnetka.
