    Incredibly uninspiring and boring exterior.

    The interior is dated.

Saddle River is a wealthy area, but the price is laughable…

It is situated on more land than most Saddle River homes, but I do agree that it is a tad overpriced.

The “bones” of this house are rather nice. With some updating, it could be spectacular. It’s very classical. Without seeing the date, I would have thought this house was much older than 1990. The exterior is the worst part – sooo boring.

The exterior screams boarding school. The interior screams New Jersey. I’d scream at my Realtor if they attempted to show me this.

House is worth 4.5 to 5 mil. Wait 90 days for the reduction.

LOVE this house! It was actually built in 1994, which was the time I started stalking homes in Saddle River consistently. I remember peeking through the windows to see that much of the interior hadn’t been completed yet. Back then it was selling for 2.2 million so yes this is waaaaay overpriced. Even with the 4 acres in my opinion. It’s located on a cul-de-sac with only 2 other homes. It’s a MARVELOUS house. These photos don’t do it justice 🙂

Also, While it is simple, the exterior looks MUCH better in person. The Brick has a slighlty pinky/peachy hue to it. Doesn’t look dated at all…maybe to a younger generation born in the 80’s or earlier) just looks classically designed.

Dated or not, the facade is not terribly imaginative, and while I appreciate traditional Colonial and Georgian facades, this doesn’t seem to be faithful to any distinct style.

Quite dated all around, although the kitchen and library don’t look half bad. I really don’t like the exterior, the central portion is way too wide and prominent compared to the rest of the facade, and overall it’s just bland and generic-looking. Nice amount of land, but the price is a little wild even considering the acreage.

The bar does not look like a comfortable place to hang out.
