From some angles the house looks as if it were inspired by Chartwell in Bel Air. From other angles (specifically the back), it looks a mess. I can’t stand the yellow ochre on the outside, and the limestone details look like an afterthought. The location within the neighborhood doesn’t seem that great either. There’s a busy street on one side and the lot isn’t big enough.

The interior wavers between gaudy and overly plain, but never seems to find the right balance. The room in picture 6 actively bothers me. The kitchen ceiling probably looked good in a design rendering, but in reality it’s cluttered and confused; it looks like Disney’s Space Mountain building inverted. I also don’t get the fireplace set into the wall in the kitchen. I guess the kids could roast weenies in it if nothing else.

This house is very strange. I have to agree with Grrrowler about the incredibly odd fireplace in the kitchen wall. I thought that I would really like the house, but I just don’t.

The exterior is incredibly busy. The balconies, the long skinny windows, the limestone, the ivy, the fountain…so much to look at. Interior is basic in some parts, overbearing in others. Not a fan.
