What a bore. That living room would be perfect in a $400,000 home in a cookie-cutter subdivision, NOT a $13 million house. Bleh.

The exterior is OK, although nothing new, unique, or special. The interior is, as Daniel said, a bore. You wouldn’t see that living room in a $400,000 house in Seattle; maybe in a $2,000,000 house. But still, it doesn’t belong in a house with this price tag. The interior wants to be classical, wants to be modern, and fails at both.

This is just ok. I’d prefer another material on the facade along with the shingles, maybe stone.

Inside is, as Daniel and Grrrowler both opined, boring. It needs decorating, but even then it won’t exactly be exciting. I hate the kitchen…I can appreciate kitchens that attempt to do something other than the painfully common, but I think this looks ugly, and I sure hope there’s a lot of cabinet space in the parts of the room the photo didn’t show. I also don’t know how I feel about the large amounts of tile flooring throughout the home. If they’re not heated, they’ll sure get cold as hell in the winter.
