Why are fruit plantations around many homes in Santa Barbara? Maybe it’s a hobby?
I don’t believe in the fruit business in Montecito.
It must be so many gardeners scurrying on the property …

This I like. The location and setting are beautiful, and it’s very private. The view is also spectacular. The exterior is decent iteration of a Mock Med. The interior has some nice spaces with good proportions. It suffers from the beige problem, but it’s not as bad as many, and is at least tastefully done.

Stunning view. The front of the home is ugly; I don’t like how it lacks symmetry of any kind. Interior is nice but I hate the doors/windows. The black frame makes it look cheap and from the 1980s.

yes, there are things anyone would change, and yes $12.5 million might be steep, but this home is fantastic. Amazing view, great outdoor areas, open and large without being a monstrosity, and seemingly private.

By the way, this house was on the market nearly four years until 2009. I remember this property. Apparently potencial buyers doesn’t agree with of HOTR readers :-).
