Love this house! Charming to a T! Love the Butler’s pantry, Master bath, in law kitchen, and outdoor entertaining.

I don’t like how the garage portion looks larger than the main house. Interior is nice but I’d get tired of all the wood very quickly.

I really like this house. I think the listing price is pretty reasonable considering it’s near one of the most prominent lakes in Georgia. It’s definitely easy on the eyes.

I know this is basically the architectural equivalent of comfort food, but I love it so damn much. It breaks no new ground whatsoever but is so gorgeous in its simple comfort that I can’t resist it. Put Paula Deen in the kitchen and I’m good to go.

On a different note, does anyone know how Lake Lanier has recovered from the drought that hit this area a couple years ago? There are a few pics of the lake in this listing, but it doesn’t give too good an idea of what it’s like. I know it looks terrible from the birds eye images, but those aren’t exactly current.

Wow, that’s a bunch. It’s a shame in general, but especially for people with property on the lake.

I really like this home. It looks like a place you could just come home too every day – simple and warm.

    Great place.
    Warm, comfortable, and inviting.
Would be great for everyday living… even more special if you could afford to own as a second home and spend summer weekends just to ski and relax with friends.
Decorated for Christmas would be great as well.

Lovely home…but I agree with Daniel about all that wood. On the ceilings?
Still, a lovely, warm and inviting vibe! 🙂

I am not a fan of the open shelving in the kitchen and wine room. Form over function-it never looks neat if in use. But with all that wood cabinets would have added more wood.
