Again, a gorgeous place to visit for 2 weeks at a time, but somewhere I would never want to call home. Pools are beautiful.

Interesting and beautiful property, but a little resort-ish feeling…

I had never heard of Mustique, so I looked it up on Wikipedia…it’s described as a private island, and provides a link to the website of “The Mustique Company”. As far as I can tell, the company is sort of like a homeowner’s association and management company. Couple that with the population being listed as 500, with a 1,300-person “peak” population, and this sounds more and more like a resort. Sort of confusing…

This is a beautiful compound. It is a place to come down to with about 15 of your closest friends. I am also sure it rents well in the off season. It doesn’t feel very much like a peaceful retreat but I like the architecture and the lap pool is amazing. Looks like you could just keep swimming out into the Caribbean.
