I don’t think the white contemporary furnishings work with the shade of wood used in this. Traditional furnishings would be more appealing in my eyes. Gorgeous view.

Beautiful location, lovely house, spectacular view, atrocious furnishings. The furnishings would be fine in a different house, but not here. The bones of the interior are really nice, but the ice princess furnishings just don’t work.

I don’t care where the home is or how beautiful the view is, 2,540 square feet with an asking price of over 11 million dollars is ludicrous. And for that price I want windows that DON’T look like they were plucked straight off the sales floor at Home Depot. Add in the gross furnishings and this is a definite pass for me.

Please, this is not 2,540 sq.ft. with an indoor pool and 5 bedrooms? Someone needs to learn mathmatics.

House is gorgeous… this is a rustic, ski house done right. Furniture is furniture we’re looking at the house people.

I agree the numbers are all off on this. I like the house but I just can’t help thinking that there are so many great ski resorts where you could recreate this for about one to two million dollars. There are plenty of European resorts just off the beaten track in Italy and Old Yugoslavia and the Slavic countries. There are also plenty of resorts in the US that are not aspen or Vail. If I am looking for a mountain retreat I would shun someplace like this and find a great undiscovered mountain village to build in. YOu would have just as great a time and wouldn’t be tripping over Saudi princes all day. HOuse is great, town is for pretentious euro and middle eastern trash.

Ah, but then you wouldn’t have the satisfaction of mentioning to all your important friends that you have a place in Aspen, or Vail, or the French Alps (insert desirable name here). I am 100% in agreement with you regarding building a similarly nice home for a lot less in an “off the beaten bath” locale, but for so many people (a.k.a. idiots) in this world, it’s the name that matters. I, however, am with you on this point.
