A perfectly acceptable family home that needs some warmth added inside and out.

Now that is my idea of a Home of the Rich. All this tired Suburban crap just gets trumped by a 60 bedroom, 60 servant estate set on 5000 acres. I cannot even imagine what the utility bills would be on this place. And the cost of decorating it. I would love a place like this to just wander around in and then go ride my horse and shoot at the local villagers.

I don’t love the outside (well I would have chosen a different color stone and did it all the way around). The inside is just beautiful though, the theater is a little chintzy though. The rest is perfect though.

The exterior is OK, but it’s a major yawn fest inside.

I would’ve liked an additional photo or two of the facade, it’s a little difficult to get a complete handle on it from this one photo, but I don’t like the color of stucco used. As Venom said, stone all the way around would’ve been nice, but if they had to use stucco it shouldn’t have been that color.

Inside is pleasant, but it won’t win any awards for originality. There are definitely some steps that could be taken to bring it up a few notches, but as is it’s pleasant but nothing more. I like the double-sided china cabinets integrated into the doorway at the breakfast nook.

Obviously its staged. I could make this a lovely home on the inside, but I’m more concerned with the outside. If they really want to sell it for this price, they’re going to have to put in a koi pond.
