There are several elements of this house that would normally aggravate me but somehow work out okay here. Chief among those are the largely monochromatic interior decor and the turned garage visible from the front of the home. The entrance angle of the driveway lessens the visual blow that these kinds of garages usually have, which is nice, and also helps to somewhat preserve the “built-a-century-ago” look that I appreciate in relatively new homes (although room for only 2 cars is a demerit in my book). Regarding the interior decor, some of it is a little on the frilly side, but the neutral colors are nice for the most part, detail work looks fantastic, and the kitchen is actually very attractive to my eye, despite being very white/cream colored. The grounds (what little there is of them anyway) look very nice too, the landscaping makes the most of the limited space.

Overall I’d bring in some more masculinity to the decor, but this isn’t bad.

This looks like it was lifted right out of the french countryside. Very authentic looking right down to the decor. My one qualm is the lot. The landscaping looks contrived and crowded. This lot is way too small, but given the reasonable price I guess you cannot have everything. I would like this so much better on some land.

This is so not my style. It’s too fussy, cluttered, and at some times even kitschy. But, I like it. I wouldn’t live in it, but I like it. I appreciate the level of detail and the commitment to the theme, throughout the entire property.

I agree, it does look very authentic. I like this a lot. it has a very comfortable feeling to it and looks like a fun place to call home and invite guests over.
