My goodness. We’ve seen the same style foyer/staircase in the past 3 homes. I do like it much better than the double-bridal though. The rest of the house is just…meh.

I know, I was thinking that myself.
I was wondering if everyone had forgotten how to make a majestic and dramatic foyer.

It’s charming as in the statement “I want to strip out the entire charming interior and replace it with something much nicer.” The bones of the interior is OK, but the decor is terrible. The grounds look nice, and I do like the covered patio.

I like the house and espedially the grounds. However, it neds a top to bottom redecoration.. That silly staircase has got to go, Also all the curtains and the chair with the red checked upholstery should be burned along with that wall hanging behind the bed in the master bedroom. I don’t want to even think of what I would do with the red center island in the kitchen. The house looks professionall done by a decorator who’s license should be immediately pulled,

Call me crazy, but I have to disagree that other than a few color changes the home is very well done.
Quality and detail in craftsmanship are excellent.
    The grounds are wonderful.
Moreover, at 7,000 s/f it is actually a home that is on a livable scale instead of the gigantic monsters that are practical for entertaining and showing off only.
Not to mention…you sure do get a lot for your dollar in Texas !

The address is just 1502, not 15023.

The grounds look very nice, and the exterior is just okay. I agree that the decor on the inside is pretty gross. It’s all way too “country-ish” for my taste. The office is the only room that’s appealing, and even there it’s a little dark.
I do have to disagree with Leon on the red kitchen island…it does stick out a little, but it lends a splash of color to an otherwise overwhelmingly beige kitchen, and that’s perfectly welcome in my book…it reminds you that you haven’t suddenly gone color-blind.

The price does not seem like as much of a bargain as other TX properties we’ve seen lately….it’s only a 7,100 sf home…

I typically dislike Texas’s version of the McMansion, but this is rather nice. It could use a touch of updating and it’s a bit too glitzy for my tastes. I love most of the interior and the grounds are very very nice. That stream/pond with the bridge is fantastic! I could picture myself spending time walking around and soaking it all in on a cool evening. The cookie cutter entrance and some of the exterior design elements are turn offs.
