Design inspiration for this was…communist block? A very boring place all-around. Also, is it now obligatory to have a kitchen island where the marble/granite goes along the sides in a contemporary home? That design element has almost become as popular as the color beige in a Mediterranean home.

I don’t find it offensive, but it is pretty boring. Actually, the front facade is pretty terrible. The location is great, but looking at the street view, it’s not a particularly attractive street. While there are some OK elements to the interior, it’s too simplistic and needs some punching up here and there. It looks like it could be comfortable if it were done right, but there are nicer townhouses in NYC already, for less money.

The bones of the place are pretty nice but the decorating is really boring and uncomfortable. The price seem high.

The interior doesn’t have enough personality for me, and the exterior is way too industrial…Contemporaries that have an industrial feel are almost never appealing to me, I very much prefer ones with lots of natural materials like wood and stone.
