Being that it is in Mclean and right on the Potomac river, I am going to say that they are going to command anywhere from 16 million to 25 million

The interior doesn’t appeal to me. Looks like something a senator’s wife would design. Exterior ain’t bad.

A little too cold and formal for my tastes. Great lot though.

The interior is way too formal and monochromatic for my tastes. The exterior is a pretty derivative stone Georgian, albeit a pleasing one. The river views are great. I can’t figure out why you would put uncomfortable commercial movie theater-grade seats in your home theater.

Just to add some more info about this house…it was designed by George B. Sagatov custom homes. I like a lot of the homes he builds (a lot of pretty stone homes like this one), but a downside to this place is that there are several almost identical homes in the Northern VA area all built with the same plan as their basis.

Here’s a link to the builder’s site (this home is one of the pics in the scrolling gallery on the homepage):

    And here’s the floor plan:

This particular home has obviously been modified with extra garages and a custom basement level, but the basics are the same.

Yea…whats up with that? Old movie theater seats weren’t designed for comfort…they were designed to pack em in! Give me a cough any day or a lazyboy recliner…THEN we’re talking…

I like this place though, creamy and smooth like a vanilla milkshake. Wonderful views.

No idea on the price though.
