This is exactly what I would picture if you said the phrase “luxurious Parisian home”. It’s beautiful throughout, and while the style of living is a little stuffy for my liking, it’s entirely appropriate for this type of property and is beautiful to behold.

Kenny, you’re on a roll with the fabulously preserved and characterful historic properties these last couple days!

    This is nice.

Great price too. Makes me think about Paris over London as a eventual Euro base.

It is both gaudy and beautiful at the same time.
Very kid unfriendly…well I would be very unfriendly to you and your kids if your brought them over here.

    $2,000 a sq.ft, I don’t think so.

      ?!?!?! “Gaudy” ?!?!?!

How can you possibly say that, Venom?! When compared to the endless parade of hideous DRECK that the rich build here in America, trying pitifully to imitate THIS masterpiece, this home is IMPECCABLY stunning! If this place were HALF the price, I’d pay it…for Avenue Foch?! In Paris?! In THAT stunning of a presentation?! HELL YES.

Most of Paris is a dirty dump.
And I am sorry, an apartment is an apartment whether it is $1000 a month or $11 million.
You have no privacy, no yard, lots of noise and your neighbors can hear everything you are doing.

I detest apartments and their builders are making a greater profit on them due to economies of scale, yet they try to charge you far more money than they would charge you for a single family home which is BS.

you’re clueless. This apartment is in central Paris, which is very clean. An apartment is an apartment?these apartments in Paris just like the prewars in Manhattan on Park Avenue are more like urban mansions. There are very few apaartments in this building, so quite A LOT OF PRIVACY.Its mor ethan clear you never stepped inside such an ‘apartment’.THe walls are 2 feet thick , its like a castle, u dont hear nothing from ur neighbours.
And noise from the outside, well that comes with living in the central area of any major metropolis. If u want yard and quiet go to the country and live there with farmers and old folk. But im pretty darn sure the owners of such apartments have at least one more home, usually in the countryside.
You detest apartments, but this is a urban mansion not an apartment. Its apartment only by name.Because in size, in its proportions, ceiling height, wall thickness, decoration, floor plan its a mansion ALL DAY LONG.
And btw, this type of apartment was not build by some greedy developer. Most these block were private comissions from the Paris elite .
I dont see a developper making a profit on such a mansion of an apartment. And its not the developer who is selling. This is a very old unit.
You clearly are clueless when it comes to luxury apartments, or luxury mansions or whatever. You poor thing…
