Stunning landscaping. I’ve never seen grass so green and perfect. The home inside and out is very beautiful. Has that old money feel that is nearly impossible to replicate correctly. Price is steep to say the least but it is Montecito after all.
I agree with you 100% on all counts. A beautiful place that says this is how money use to live…there are newer and larger homes, but this one screams class.
I like the home a lot. Inside could be more inspiring, but the exterior is fantastic. The landscaping is indeed breathtaking, but little, if any, of it is the same as it likely looked when the place was new, which diminishes a little of the appeal to me. Bing maps shows the home under renovation, and none of this landscaping is there in those images. It’s not a huge deal, I know, but I like when there’s lots of elements of the history of the property still there, grounds included.
wow! now this is a classy architecturally correct home. I’d like to see more contemporary and modern mixed into the interiors it’s still very well done. as noted already the landscaping is perfection and I’d cry if I had to leave this place as well as Montecito behind.
Wow, this is a new build. It looks like it has been there since the 30′s. Classic and well done old style California estate. Great area too.
Not a new build. It was built in 1929.
I binged it and it looked like a constructin site. Maybe I was looking at the wrong lot or maybe they were renovating.
I think it underwent extensive renovation around the time the bing images were taken…see my main comment above
BEAUTIFUL! Classic! Wonderfully landscaped!
Ya see folks??? See the koi pond? Thats what REALLY rich folks have.

Care to elaborate?
