Eh. The exterior is too severe looking. The roof (or exterior stone) shouldn’t be the exact same color either. The windows need some shutters as well. Interior is mediocre, and that kitchen size is obscene and a waste of space. Not a fan of this one.

I also hope that everyone in the northeast stays safe. For those that haven’t experienced a hurricane before, a category one is more of a hassle than a danger. I hope you all had a hurricane party!!!

Thankfully, I’m not in the coastal parts of VA, so we’re just getting the outer edge of it, which is mostly just steady rain and gusty wind. I have been thinking a lot about those in coastal NC, VA & MD though, as well as the parts of the Northeast that are just now getting hit. Hope everyone from those areas are safe and sound.

Ugh…it’s terrible. The inside and out are plain boring, and the decor is awful. Even the grounds looks boring. On a positive note, the kitchen can do double duty as a ballroom when needed.

I feel like this home would’ve had a lot more potential if some key things were done differently. Daniel, I agree that the stone & roof being the same color was a mistake, and it does need shutters or something to relieve the lack of color. Aside from that, I actually kind of like the exterior.

Inside, they played it way too safe and middle of the road decor-wise, which could easily be set right by the new owner.

My other problems with this property have to do with the grounds. There’s barely any landscaping to speak of, and none at the rear of the home. Good landscaping is more than just a sprinkling of evergreens. I also think the home would be much better suited to a nice wooded lot, not a wide open expanse of field. Price seems way too high.

Well the exterior certainly fits in with that Main Line old stone manor house aesthetic. But I agree, the lines look really severe and the landscaping doesn’t do anything to make this house blend. The interior is too modern and trendy and comfortable to really mimic an old Main Line manor. A little too suburban and not enough puritan practicality. I don’t see these guys getting an invite to the Cricket Club.
