Absollutely gorgeous home. The lighting in these pictures is fantastic. It looks like the photographer used some kind of soft lens to get the outdoor pics. This is a dream home. Montecito is definitely one of the nicest areas in California.
Cover any home with ivy and it’ll get at least a “B” in my book. Interior makes this home a solid “A”, minus those horrific couches in the living and family rooms. Pool area is perfect for shooting a movie. All in all, a beautiful home. I’m starting to realize Montecito has some gorgeous estate homes.
I can’t put it better than this.
And like Grrrowler said; kitchen needs some attention.
But it’s a definite dream home to me.
It’s a great house. The exterior is beautiful. The interior needs to be updated a little bit, but that’s just furniture and soft goods. the kitchen does need a make-over; it’s the most dated-looking, and that crap above the cabinets all needs to go. Beyond that, it’s a definite yes.
Beautiful, but needs 2 more acres.
Nice home! I’m not sold on the ivy to be honest. The grounds are absolutely stunning! I’m not always a fan of Mediterranean homes so it’s a hard sell, but this one is very nice. Very comfortable and relaxing. The furniture isn’t really my style but who cares. I’m totally in love with the second and third picture. What a great entrance! My only real complaint is that it looks like an upscale resort/hotel.
Koi Pond. Need I say more?
Definitely a very rich persons house.
Very showy and vulgar. Definitely not the best that Montecito offers. The house is
quite close to the market and your live-in servants could walk there easily. Still, the
shell of the house is okay and with another $5-7 million spent for remodeling, it
could be decent. I would rather hold out for a George Washington Smith, however.
It’s a fairly pleasing property…the kitchen is pretty egregiously dated, seemingly more than 13 years worth. Little bits of updating here and there will go a long way. The property seems very private and the scenery is pretty. I love the ivy on the home. Very nice overall.
